PHOTOFIT
By Poetry on Sep 8, 2009 in Poems
Do you fit the photofit
That you are meant to be
Are you real or do you feel
That photograph ain’t me
Is it time to yield
That you are just a fake book
To please the ones surrounding they
You’ve laid down like a persian lamb.
The inner you is bubbling up
Unable to be stilled
Breaking through the false veneer
Refusing to be killed
One day soon it will erupt
And blow your mask apart
Who’ll be there to mop it up
The mess that was your heart.
The road of life is very tough
And crevices feel
You trip and fall so many contemporary world
But wonder child, there is no quiver
For i allow these these darker present times
Refining you like gold
You’ll come out stronger than you were
Be hypochondriac, as i leaf soil.
