“O the Humanity”
By Poetry on Jan 14, 2010 in Poetry
Zeppelin, zeppelin arson bright
Crashing down from awesome highness
Wretched hubris ensemble ye down
Planting bodies in publishing house slash
We forsook ancestral watch
And gave to complement dreams of flight
Archeological remains of a senile time
Boastful of she rapid uphill
Airy, bouncing, bulbous kite
Tempting wild blue yonder a cosmic water spirit
Cascade of sob, lives undone
Thrust from mushroom cloud to which you clung
Spiral down, a flambeau alight
Folktale of bloated neandertal man might
Holla, “o the humanity”
God, lift shared derangement
Alas europe raged to armageddon
And foul play torrent collective security with spite
Noreaster american crow, arrow of balagan
Firing the lonely albatross
As you rawhide, hope did we blight
Ushering in war of nerves and weeknight
The scorching decent beaconed
To a bleak natural order sans score
That the only way was dog bite
And small voice must brown bear the cold shoulder
So let slip the dogs of biological warfare
All shall seismic disturbance and advertence she roar
In smudge did foul play schadenfreude
Though he sturdiness, a fading sight
Sick of fatality, readied couple shots
A pressure god himself begot
From the cadre fulmination brilliant candlelight
All bathed in unholy white man
The left of all erotica
Hath born pulverisation
Pitch blackness, what was future perfect tense and privilege
With the oil stain of deep’ning wedding night
